COURSE DESCRIPTION

はじめまして Hajimemashite! (Greetings and nice to meet you).  We are excited for you to be a part of Connect the World’s Global Language program as we set you on your path to becoming a global citizen.
Let’s enjoy learning Nihongo!

This is a basic introductory Japanese course focused to learn the language and the culture.  We will learn various Japanese greetings, weather, numbers, sing Japanese children songs, learn various Japanese vocabularies, learn Japanese holidays and traditions, and participate in cultural activities through storytelling, games, and crafts.

We hope these classes bring in opportunities for exposure to Japanese language, culture, and how they intertwine with American culture and language. Students with zero to limited prior knowledge of Japanese are greatly welcome!
